About Your Portrait SessionA session includes the shoot itself and pre & post session consultations. If possible, sessions will be conducted outdoors at a park, garden or any other setting of our choice. We reserve one whole hour for you, and we try different poses, different backgrounds and different moods. When children are involved, the length of the session is usually dictated by their timing. We shoot a minimum of 36 exposures, and provide you with 4x6 proofs from each negative. Payment of the sitting fee (or package fee) is due prior to your session. 
Before your session we'll discuss your ideas, expectations and the types of images you want to create. About one to two weeks after your session we'll set up an appointment to look at your proofs together and decide which ones you'd like to enlarge, to what size, perhaps crop and how images might go together. All prints are custom, hand-enlarged prints on high quality RC paper. The additional print prices from the price list pertain to multiple prints made from the same negative and are valid only when ordered at the same time. Payment in full is due upon placement of your order.We now also offer DIGITAL portrait sessions!Negatives and copyright remain the property of Edith Ross Photography.
